Space Place Is Taking Off Again

After a year of rest following our initial concept phase, technical feasibility studies, and the development of our custom solar sandwich panels, Space Place is back ->
and ready to launch.
For those new here: Space Place is a community satellite project. Together, we’re building a spacecraft that carries 10,000 individual 1 cm³ cubes, small, personal artifacts sent by people from all over the world. Each participant owns a tiny piece of space, a voxel of the satellite itself.
The satellite, weighing under 60 kg, will fly as part of a SpaceX Rideshare mission. Once in orbit, it will unfold its solar panels, and on the back of those panels are your cubes, proudly exposed to the cosmos.
Participants can choose between different tiers , from a basic cube, where you send us a custom-designed mini object (we handle everything else), up to powered cubes that come with an optional development board to simulate your module’s behavior before launch.
Every contributor receives an official certificate and a photo from orbit, showing their cube as part of the satellite.
