When you look at our satellite, the most striking feature isn’t the body, it’s the wings . These extendable panels don’t just unfold to collect sunlight, they are  the foundation of the entire Space Place concept. Designing them was one of the biggest challenges so far. The panels must be extremely light , rigid , and resistant to unwanted vibrations , while still distributing power and, for some users, even data. After a year of rest following our initial concept phase, technical feasibility studies, and the development of our custom solar sandwich panels, Space Place is back -> and ready to launch .
